FULL MOON ~ EARTH ALTARS ~ SOUND

Collaborating with friend Katelyn Morris @vira_kata to host this gathering in celebration of the upcoming full moon. We will be sharing practices that connect us deeper to nature, ritual, creativity, and community.
We will meet at the beach at 6:30pm and will begin with some grounding meditation, mindful movement, and sound. We will then collectively build an earth altar as an offering. All while the sun sets and the (almost) full moon rises at this beautiful lakefront location.
Please bring your own beach blanket or something to sit on (we will meet on the sand). You may also want to bring tea / water, appropriate layers, and maybe even a swimsuit for a full moon dip!
All are welcome. No confirmation necessary - just show up. We kindly ask if you plan to attend to please arrive on time. Give yourself at least 10-15 minutes from the time you park to meet us at the beach by 6:30pm. We will conclude around 8pm. Optional to stay a bit longer to enjoy the spirit of this place.

From highway 50, take Tahoe Keys Boulevard. Take a right at Venice Boulevard. Follow Venice Boulevard to the end. At the end of the cul-de-sac you will see the Tahoe Keys Yacht Club on the left and the Cove East trail on the right. Park somewhere along Venice Boulevard and then walk about 5-10 minutes on the trail to the beach.

There will most likely be a volunteer working the gate from 7:45am-9:30am so you may also have the option to drive in and park. If there is no gate attendant, park in the pullout on highway 89 and it’s a short walk from there.

Meetin’ Up with fellow yoga teacher friend Tara Hostnik @liveyoganature to co host a gathering celebrating water, sunlight, and summer joy!
We will meet at 7:30am and begin with meditation + mindful movement (1 hour), followed by an optional dip in the lake and beach hang!
Everyone welcome. Please bring your own towel, beach blanket, or outdoor yoga mat (we will meet on the sand). It will most likely be sunny + warm so bring appropriate layers + sun protection + water gear.

From South Lake Tahoe, take 89 North from the "Y", about a 1/2 mile past Camp Richardson take a right on Heritage Way (the sign says Historic Tallac Site), at the fork stay LEFT on Tallac Way (the sign says Tallac Point/Lake Access) towards Kiva Beach. Park in main lot, walk north west toward beach to flat sandy area where Taylor Creek meets the lake.
