COMMUNITY CLASSES START JUNE 10, 2015 AND RUN THRU THE END OF AUGUST.
WEDNESDAYS 8:30AM, NATURE INSPIRED YOGA AT KIVA BEACH
Start your Wednesday mornings connecting with nature, meditation, and slow flow yoga on the beach. All levels welcome. Please bring towel, blanket, or yoga mat. After class optional beach clean up, or jump in the lake! Class starts at 8:30am and runs just over and hour.
*Recommendation for the early bird crowd...come early and enjoy serene peaceful meditation or a glassy Stand Up Paddle board session!

Directions: From South Lake Tahoe, take 89 North from the "Y", about a 1/2 mile past Camp Richardson take a right on Heritage Way (the sign says Historic Tallac Site), at the fork stay LEFT on Tallac Way (the sign says Tallac Point/Lake Access) towards Kiva Beach. Park in main lot, take main trail to beach, stay left and walk out to flat sandy area where Taylor Creek meets the lake.
SUMMER 2015 // THURSDAYS 8:30AM, YOGA HIKES!
Start the first part of your Thursdays this summer exploring Tahoe nature with a Mindful Adventure Yoga Hike! We will meet at the Lake Tahoe Visitor Center at Taylor Creek no later than 8:15am and leave at 8:30am by carpooling to the trailhead. The hikes will vary due to the day and the group. We will start either at Emerald Bay Eagle Point, Bay View Trailhead (Emerald Bay vicinity), or Fallen Leaf Lake. Plan to hike 3-4 miles on a moderate trail. We will blend the practices of meditation, nature, adventure, yoga, ecology, and sustainability. We should be finished and back to the Taylor Creek parking lot no later than 12:30pm. This will be a very fun, inspiring, and healthy Tahoe morning.

Don't forget to bring: water, snacks, sun protection, hat, good walking shoes, light towel or sarong (you don't need a yoga mat), camera, a swimsuit if you want to jump in the lake, and layers for mountain weather.
We love animals, but most of these trails do not allow pets:) Children are welcome!

SUMMER 2014 // FRIDAYS 8AM, EMERALD BAY YOGA HIKES
Start the first half of your Friday exploring Emerald Bay with a Mindful Adventure! We will meet at the Lake Tahoe Visitor Center at Taylor Creek no later than 8:15am and take the Emerald Bay Trolley (Trolley is scheduled to leave at 8:26am, so don't be late) to Eagle Point Campground where we will start our hike. We will start on the south end of Rubicon Trail, one of Tahoe's most spectacular treks as it hugs the shoreline of Emerald Bay. Our hike will total a little over 3.5 miles and is rated as Easy to Moderate. Day will include; meditation, hike, yoga on a beach of Emerald Bay, passing by Lower Eagle Falls and Vikingsholm, and time to enjoy your snack lunch and dip in the lake if you desire. We will conclude at the main Emerald Bay/Eagle Falls parking lot where we will again catch either the scheduled 11:40pm or 12:40pm (depending on the pace of the group) Trolley and be back to Taylor Creek Visitor Center around 12-1pm. This will be a very fun, inspiring, and healthy Tahoe day.
$20 SUGGESTION DONATION + $4 FOR THE TROLLEY FARE. (Trolley only accepts exact change)

SEPTEMBER 11th-13th 2014
TAHOE OUTDOOR YOGA WEEKEND
Come and enjoy the final sweet days of summer in Lake Tahoe with an outdoor adventure yoga extravaganza! Fallen Leaf Lake Campground in South Lake Tahoe, CA, is very serene, close to many amazing lake beaches and trailheads, and close to town. We will practice nature inspired yoga and meditation, explore outdoor adventure, and will talk about finding and implementing personal practice. Meet new friends and soak up the special September days in Tahoe.
Weekend Includes:
-2 nights of Camping at Fallen Leaf Lake Campground (Thursday and Friday nights) Must supply own camping gear.
-Delicious vegetarian meals and snacks.
-Outdoor Yoga and Meditation.
-Guided Nature Hike and a Stand Up Paddle Board rental/lesson from our friends at SUP Tahoe.
-An opportunity to connect to the elements and a workshop on how to develop, implement and keep interest in a personal practice!
What to bring: personal camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad), headlamp or flashlight, water bottle, hiking or running shoes, sun protection, swimsuit, towel, blanket or sarong for beach yoga, older yoga mat that you don't mind getting dirty:), layered clothing for Tahoe weather (this time of year can be quite warm or quite cool), toiletries, pen and writing journal, personal snacks/food (all meals/snacks provided will be vegetarian but may not accommodate for special allergies/gluten free, etc), camping chair.
Optional things to bring: hammock, bike, hula hoop, books, guitar, slackline, water toys (floating air mattress, etc), anything fun for camping!:)
